Studying for exams, and I do practically no work if I listen to riffy stuff. But Vindensang and Njiqahdda are working well. You know of any other good black metal/ambient sort of stuff?

I rarely listen to ambient. Get Paysage d'Hiver though.

Ah damn, does anyone else know of some good shit in the vein of Njiqahdda - Njimajikal Arts or Vindensang - Terminus: Rebirth In Eight Parts. I hardly ever listen to this stuff but it's pretty cool.

Wardruna is really good because it's repetitive but that's folk stuff. Seriously though Paysage d'Hiver - Die Festung is badass ambient.

I've already got Wardruna, I'll check out Paysage d'Hiver.

I've always found Fall of the Idols to be good background music for paper writing and exam studying. I mean, it's doom that kinda lacks riffs and reflects the monochromatically bleak atmosphere of trying to pump out a paper or cramming for a test you'll most likely fail: it's doom.
